About this tool
A slug is the readable part of a URL that identifies a page, like /arabic-text-cleaner. Most slug generators simply delete Arabic letters and leave you with an empty or meaningless URL. This one gives you the choice: keep Arabic in the URL, which search engines index and browsers display correctly, or transliterate it into Latin letters for older systems.

Frequently asked questions
Are Arabic URLs good for SEO?
Yes. Search engines index Arabic URLs and show them readably in results, and they can match the words people search for. The trade-off is that they become long percent-encoded strings when copied into some apps.
Why are hamza forms unified in the slug?
So that two spellings of the same title — with and without hamza — produce the same URL, instead of creating duplicate pages.
Hyphens or underscores?
Use hyphens. Google treats hyphens as word separators, while underscores can join words together.
