About this tool
One converter for the nine kinds of units that come up most: length, mass, temperature, area, volume, speed, pressure, data size and energy. It switches between metric and imperial, keeps kilobytes (1000) and kibibytes (1024) clearly apart, and accepts Arabic-Indic digits typed on an Arabic keyboard.
How to use

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between MB and MiB?
A megabyte (MB) is 1,000,000 bytes; a mebibyte (MiB) is 1,048,576 bytes. Operating systems often show MiB while labelling it MB, which is why a 500 GB drive appears as about 465 GB.
Can I type numbers in Arabic digits?
Yes. Arabic-Indic digits and the Arabic decimal separator are converted automatically, so you can type directly from an Arabic keyboard.
Which gallon does the converter use?
The US gallon (3.785 litres). The UK imperial gallon is larger, at 4.546 litres.
